Aesthetic Nurse
Training Certification Course
FAQ:
- This is a two-day certification course, typically a Friday/Saturday or a Saturday/Sunday.
- Course begins promptly at 8 am and will end at 6 pm each day.
- Must be RN, NP, PA or MD to train (licensure is required and will be verified).
- Cost: $2400, includes breakfast/lunch, slide deck, certification, consumables, CME, and products for use during event. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required at signing.
- Models: Most often you will be practicing on each other under the guidance of Master Injectors in a 1 on 1 room. Occasionally, we will bring in models for you to practice on. You will have one patient that you will perform all treatments on- start to finish.
- We only accept 6-10 students per session.
- You may opt for individualized mentorship after training for advanced skills.
Typical Agenda:
Day 1:
8 am Breakfast (hosted by Revance Aesthetics- RHA and Daxi)
8:30-9 am Introductions (meet your Rep, meet your Trainers, meet your peers)
9-10:30 Facial anatomy: Bones and Muscle Review
What causes wrinkles? The Aging Process
10:30-11 Facial Anatomy: Fat Pads, Vascular and Nerves
Avoiding Complications with safe injection techniques
11-12 Safety measures for fillers, neurotoxins and more
12-1 Lunch (hosted by Evolus- Jeuveau) ~Networking, meet your Reps~
1-2:30 pm What is a neurotoxin, how do they work, patient selection, facial mapping, aftercare, on-label vs off-label, contraindications, typical dosing
2:30-4 pm Break out sessions
1. Facial mapping for Jeuveau
2. Using a vein finder to markup veins
3. Using calipers to determine facial proportions for toxins
4. Reconstitution, dilatation, storage and drawing up neurotoxins
4-5 pm: Setting realistic expectations, marketing, establishing business
5-6 pm: Talking with Evolus Rep, Steve, about Jeuveau, Revance Rep, Cari about RHA, and Revanesse Rep Kelly about Versa
Day 2:
8 am Breakfast (hosted by Revanesse- Versa)
8:30-10 am Facials (live demo at front of room), discussion on skincare products
10-12 Fillers, placement, selection, rheology (elastic modulus), cross linking, HA vs Calcium hydroxylapatite filler, lift capacity, monophasic vs biphasic, cohesivity, concentration, viscosity, elasticity.
12-1 Lunch (hosted by Empowering Health) ~Networking, meet your Reps~
1-5 Break out rooms
1. Pushing filler/dissolving filler/safety ultrasound, vascular anatomy review
2. Lips, nasolabial folds, marionettes, radial lip lines
3. Cheeks and jawlines
4. Using calipers to determine facial proportions for fillers
5-6 pm: Conclusion, setting up accounts, malpractice, scope of practice, collaboration,
certifications
